Mushroom Mountain

The "Mushroom Mountain" crop circle appeared in the fields of Winterbourne Bassett, Wiltshire on June 23rd. 2009. The crop circle resembles a giant mushroom with "new moons" embedded inside the image multiple times. Some experts think that the upper section of this crop circle resembles the explosion of the Sarychev Volcano on the Kuril Islands, just off the coast of Russia which had erupted just 9 days earlier. The image also shows nine new moon symbols across the upper width of the "mushroom" - the same duration between the eruption and discovery of this anomaly.
